Information for Riverfest Volunteers

Riverfest Volunteers

Riverfest Needs Volunteers

Please sign up for 2 or more hours and receive a FREE t-shirt.  If you are interested in volunteering, please click the “VOLUNTEERS NEEDED” button (or the button below) to complete a volunteer application, and to select your shifts.  Volunteers must be age 16 or older.

Information Booths
Booths are at River Reach Terrace and Rocky Reach Landing.  2 people per 2-hour shift.  Volunteers will provide guidance and distribute information.

Setup
Includes signage on trails and at Info Booths, music areas, etc.  4 people needed.  Overall moving, lifting, situating, organizing, light errands, etc.

Takedown
Help with takedown and packing up.  4 people needed.  Overall moving, lifting, packing, organizing, light errands, etc.

RiverKids Arts & Crafts
Facilitate and demonstrate activities.  3 people per 2-hour shift.

Weiner Dog Races
Help with setup of race area, registration, directing participants & spectators.  16 people needed.

Eating Areas / Tables
Keep tables and area cleared and clean.  2 people per 2-hour shift.

Traffic Control
Assist Committee Head in directing drivers to parking areas and vendors to their spaces.  3 people per 3-hour shift.

Duck Race Ticket Booths
Booths are at River Reach Terrace and Rocky Reach Landing.  2 people per 2-hour shift.  Volunteers will sell Duck Race Tickets.

Merchandise Booths
Booths are at River Reach Terrace and Rocky Reach Landing.  2 people per 2-hour shift.  Volunteers will sell water, t-shirts, and swag.
