Art Show

Riverfest Fine Art Show

At River Reach Terrace. Local and regional artists’ work in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, drawings, photography, digital art, jewelry, sculpture, metal art, and mixed media. Hosted by the Northwest New Mexico Arts Council.

Brick Pavers

Purchase a Brick Paver

Stop by the Merchandise Booth at River Reach Terrace and purchase your engraved, custom memorial, family or business, concrete paver brick at Riverfest and show your support for the river trails! A perfect way to remember loved ones. All proceeds from Paver Bricks go to trail development.

Riverfest kicks off Friday evening with music. Live musical acts continue all day Saturday & Sunday.

Rafting

10-6 Sat & 10-4 Sun

Tickets $25 Adults, $25 Kids (ages 4-11)

Enjoy Riverfest by rafting the beautiful Animas River! Roll through Class I and II rapids, and splash through one wet Class III. Animas Park put-in to Boyd Park take-out near Miller Street. Rafts will run every hour. Meet your guides at the put-in. Trip reservations can be made at the DRG booth in Rocky Reach Landing and at the put-in. Life Jackets and a professional guide are provided. After the ride, a shuttle bus will take you back to Animas Park put-in. An additional shuttle will be looping from Animas Park to the main parking lot at Berg Park – off of San Juan Boulevard. Riverfest Express

Free Shuttle Service

The Riverfest Express, provided by Red Apple Transit, is free to all Riverfest guests both Saturday and Sunday. Shuttle service runs every 30 minutes in a loop with stops at:

Farmington Civic Center
Scott Ave (by WaFed)
Farmington Museum
Animas Park (parking lot)

There will be an additional two school busses from Navajo Prep that will run a route in a loop as follows:

Berg Park (parking lot)
San Juan Blvd (between S. Fairview Ave and S. Tucker Ave) to access All Veteran’s Memorial Park

Free Tractor Rides

Take a free tractor ride from the Red Barn to Rocky Reach Landing, brought to you by the Four Corners Antique Power Association.

Yo-Yo

Yo-Yo Tricks by Luke Renner

Our local string slinger, Luke Renner will move around the event on most of the day on Saturday and Sunday and give yo-yo performances where he finds crowds.

Enjoy works in progress, or view, vote, and purchase at the Fine Arts Tent at River Reach Terrace. A Silent Auction will also be held. Winner by popular vote will be announced Saturday at 4pm at the Little Pavilion.

Riverfest Run

Riverfest Fun Run
8am

Kick-off summer with a 10K, 5K, or 2-mile walk at Riverfest this Memorial Day weekend! Organized by the Farmington Recreation Center this fun run/walk is open to the whole family. $30 for the runs, $15 for the walk. Register by May 22 by 4:00 pm online by clicking here.

Register at the Red Barn in Animas Park. Walk your dog to 6 different outposts around the park to collect 6 different dog stamps. Enjoy nature and the beauty of the park with your best friend, and take in the special communal vibes at Riverfest! Most of all – have fun!

This year’s theme is Gala for the Dogs. there will be a red carpet and interviews of our celebrity dog and human participants.
