Riverfest takes place over the Memorial Day weekend at both Berg Park and Animas Park starting at 5pm on Friday evening with live entertainment until 8pm. The event continues on Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

About Riverfest
Riverfest is a family-friendly, admission free, annual event organized by the River Reach Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The River Reach Foundation’s mission is to protect, promote, and enhance our riverine corridors, and the Riverfest event’s mission is to bring people and the river together. Our vision is a healthy natural habitat for all life along the riverine corridor.
Activities taking place during the event between Saturday and Sunday include a 10k race, a weiner dog race, duck race, rafting & raft race, roverfest, disc golf, yoga flow, children’s activities, and car shows. Entertainment throughout the entire event consists of musicians, Gourd and Apache dancers, and a recycle fashion show. There are arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, beer & wine gardens, and non-food vendors located along the river trails between Berg and Animas Parks.
Riverfest Happenings
Music
Riverfest kicks off Friday evening with music. Live musical acts continue all day Saturday & Sunday.
Food
You won’t go hungry at Riverfest! There are plenty of food vendors to satisfy everyone.
Beer & Wine
Quench your thirst with adult beverages at the Beer & Wine Garden featuring local favorites.
Raft Trips
The river is what it’s all about. Have some fun on the river!
Duck Race
Another crowd favorite each year is the Duck Race.
Riverfest Raft Parade
Watch rafters parade down the Animas River in outrageous costumes.
Wiener Dog Races
A crowd favorite each year are the Wiener Dog Races.
Riverfest Fun Run
Take a run through Berg and Animas Parks. 10K, 5K and 2 mile Fun Walk
Disc Golf
Tournament on Saturday and Open Play on Sunday.
Roverfest
Walk your best friend along the river trails. Fun and goodies for your pooch.
Native Dancers
Watch and enjoy as the Native Dancers perform.
Plein Air Painters
Come and paint or sketch in the park or view works in progress and vote for a winner.
Fine Arts Show
View and purchase local and regional artists work.
